...I am never going to use music as a ringtone. Cellphones piss me off. I can find many reasons for having them, and I don't even really know why having music as a ringtone annoys me, but it does.
The only thing I would have for a ringtone other than the normal ringing, would be a very clear "baaaaahahahah... BAAAAAHHHHAHAHAH!!!" sheep sound. That would own.
[edit]
Maybe I hate music as a ringtone since it's like, trying to mask what it is to me (when it's someone else answering the phone)... A friggen' interruption. At least "BEEEEEEEEEEEEHHHWWWW" sounds like what it is.

The polyphonic ones don't annoy me as much... At least I can tell them from a radio.
|
Can you believe my phone did not come with a normal ring? Not only that, but I couldn't even find one on virginmobile's site!
|
This reminds me of what happened in my English class last Friday. This one kid I know talks -horribly-. He's white, but he has this ghetto-type speech. I can hardly understand what he says. Well, during English, his cellphone starts ringing, and it's this horrible rap.
|
I have full midi's of songs to listen to when Im bored. But, for my ring tone I have a classic phone noise. Nice, High-pitched and lound. Better than all the crap you get on TV
|
I got the Super Mario Bros. Theme Song and the Legend of Zelda Opening Theme Song.
|
Hooray for the Mario Bros Theme!
That's my ringtone, too... I also have the Zelda overworld theme, but apparently, the "bass" in the song is too much for the speaker in my phone, as it sounds like crap when playing on the highest volume (which mine is kept at, since I'd barely be able to hear it otherwise) |
my cousin uses the Super Mario Bros theme too I think >_>
If I were to ever get a phone, I'd either use a normal ring or use a song from some game nobody but I have heard of (for that matter I could use Dragon Warrior rings because I don't know many people who would have played those =/) |
I have mine set to the classic ring. It's distinctive (so you instantly know what's going on) and minimises the amount of people who get annoyed. The old ones really are the best ones!
One of my friends has the Monkey Island theme, though, which is great. |
AAAHHHH!!! Talk about an interruption. =D
Other than that, my phone has some thing that sounds like a security buzzer that beeps twice and says "ATTENTION! CHECK THE MESSAGE ON-SCREEN NOW!" ... I have Yoda saying something, Car horns, a rooster, Scooby Doo saying his name, and a song. Then I have the polyphonic ringtones(no voices and such), for songs like the Ghost Busters theme, Happy Days theme, a few FF7 songs, and a bunch of other stuff.
It's kind of a lot considering my phone's almost always on Silent or Vibrate. xD
