From there he worked as hard as he could to breaking everything, forcing me to come up with quick fixes for it all. When eventually I got stuck, he gave me a helping hand. After that came years of me constantly bugging him about ways to do stuff until it all set in and I stopped needing to ask questions. | |
Well, how I learned is a bit embarrassing but I'll share. :P
I used to own a DBZ <s>rip</s>game. It was the pride of my life. Then after 2 years of toying around with this game, making shitty libraries( *cough*dbz pod demo*cough* ), I managed to get a grip on the language. Shortly after I found Chat and started lurking there. Keeth was ma' mentor. He helped me make a proper game( which still isn't proper ) and along the way my understanding of DM and programming as a whole evolutionized and I became the little weener and smart-mouth you know today. ( That game can be found at http://byond.com/games/metamorphman.leafthief , it's hidden from hub searches. ) P.S. I have been banned from Chatters for calling Crashed a snow nigger. I'm in rehab, though and am chewing lots of gum to keep down the pain.
