Well, I now have glasses... they're Oakleys. I mostly got them for driving purposes as I am kind of near sited. =) Joy. I did have glasses a few times when I was younger as well, but I would either lose or break them. Oh well. =)

Actually, nerd wouldnt be fitting as I am a big guy, and have good teeth, plus I see nerds more likely to go lol and actually mean it.

I've had glasses since the third grade (for those keeping score, that's been 14 years ago)
It's really not that bad... I've gone through quite a few pairs, too... I used to break them all the time... And I'll be wearing them for the rest of my life... I can't wear contacts (my eyes are too sensitive for me to put anything in them), and I don't think lasik surgery would be worth it... | |

I got my glasses last year, and I am so happy for them now. I remember the first time I put them on after being nearly blind for my entire life (I assumed that it wasn't unusual to not be able to see things from far away), and being exhilerated by the beauty and intricacy of the world. My eyes, too, are incredibly sensitive, and if you even say the words "watery eyes" my eyes start to complain. In fact, they just did, agh. | |
I probably would have gotten contacts, but I like to sleep in those "extra 10 minutes" and it just wouldnt't give me time to put them in. Especially if I were to wake later than I meant.
