How do you feel about coding? I feel its sometimes, hard, frustrating and fun. All sorts of feelings. How do I make it easier?

I get all sorts of erections when I program.

I feel programming is great. It's challenging if it's something I haven't done before. It feels redundant if it's something I've worked on before. All together it's a great way to pass time, especially being productive.

As do most normal programmers.

It's pretty much problem solving, and there's nothing more gratifying than solving that problem after 4 hours of work. ^_^

Personally I get frustrated all the time. Problems tend to be unique and take lots of time to solve. Once solved it becomes trivial and boring. Then I realize how much more I have to do and I stop programming for that day. Resulting in 1 line per day. |
I try to fix at least one problem at a run when I do things like that. I usually take meal/anime breaks when I program. I either make or fix a feature and move on. It's better than chaining through it for 12 hours and exhausting myself, making myself sick of it.

When I started, I did other things while programming to help pass the time; normaly listening to commentaries on youtube. Once you're better at it and more used to spending the time it becomes easier to just dive into things without anything else. It also becomes quicker to root out issues and solve them as you get more used to it.

I feel like a boss when I'm programming. I turn on some good music (Nappy Roots, Avenged Sevenfold, Maroon 5, Skillet, Sick Puppies, you get the idea) and just start pounding away on my keyboard. It's all about getting into a rhythm and having the end in mind.
