Okay, today I go down to the police station to review my charges right. There is some stuff in there that says "I threatened to murk someone online from my town". I don't talk to anyone from my town online. So either, someone posed as me online threatening someone or someone is trying to get me locked up. What can I do about this?

Man whoever did this must be someone tht doesnt like you. If he logged in as you then he must have known your pass. Do you have like friends or people you told your password to?

Laugh, they have to prove it was you. I'd challenge the charges if they tried doing something. They would laugh them out of a courtroom, especially if it got past a local judge.

The problem with these kind of things is that they don't give you the kind of information you need to prove your innocence. I don't really know what to say, maybe you should ask Jmurph about it.

To press charges the offence you committed either has to be civil or criminal. To be charged civilliy, the scales of evidence and no evidence only have to be slightly tipped to the side of evidence. This alleged "charge" you have isn't civil. It'd be criminal, for harassment. Therefore, the scales have to be tipped indefinetely on the evidence. The police have to be 100% certain without reasonable doubt that you are guilty of the alleged offence.
