every game
In other user accounts?

When does the problem NOT occur?
so far I have been unable to keep this problem from surfacing, need to reset Dream Seeker to make it work.

Workarounds:
reset dreamseeker after display is activated/deactivated or simply start playing after such an event taking place, not hard, however annoying

You need to include an actual version number in your report. Please edit it to put in the missing info. You can say what other versions you have tried (specific version numbers also) in the details of the report itself, since that's still useful info to have.

By secondary display do you mean another monitor? I wasn't able to find a setting by the name you listed in my own info, and I also use XP Pro. But I only have one monitor.

I believe in any event you should be able to work around the problem by switching DS to software rendering and then back to hardware mode. This should reset the map in DirectX.
Lummox's work around does work, however i was unable to open the options window in one of the games
