This issue has been resolved.
Descriptive Problem Summary:
After updating to the new v.450 i played naruto goa, then l8r exited the game and attempted to rejoin it on a different server, however just after the blue window pops up that says connecting to a windows error message popped up saying dream seaker has stopped working and closed the program. I do not believe this erropr has to do with any specific game and the problem never occurred be4 the update.
Numbered Steps to Reproduce Problem:
1. open and login to byond
2. connect to game through hub/website
Code Snippet (if applicable) to Reproduce Problem:

Expected Results:
dream seeker would open selected game
Actual Results:
dream seeker fails to open
Does the problem occur:
Every time? Or how often?
Every time
In other games?
all games
In other user accounts?
yes my brother suffered the same error
On other computers?
yes my brother suffered the same error
When does the problem NOT occur?
the problem only did not occur before the update, since then it always occurs even after 1. reinstalling byond 2. deleting all files related to byond 3. downgrading to early patch along with previous steps.
Did the problem NOT occur in any earlier versions? If so, what was the last version that worked? (Visit http://www.byond.com/download/build to download old versions for testing.)
the latest version that worked was the previous one (v.449 i believe) however downgrading does not fix the problem.

Workarounds:
remove byond and related files, then download v.440 and do not update it.
Very unusual that this would only happen in 450, since the change from 449 to that was extremely minor. More likely this is another issue that is just manifesting itself now.

First, you should try clearing your cache as you may have a supplemental file that is causing a crash.

1) Open up the BYOND Pager.
2) in File->Preferences->Advanced look at the "user directory". It should be something like "[my documents]\byond\".
3) Go to that folder.
4) Close the pager.
5) Inside the "byond" folder is a folder called "cache". Rename that to something else.
6) Restart and see if it works. If it does, we'll want to look at your (renamed) cache so just report back here.
same with me on the same game

that doesnt work however i did solve it. u have to completely remove byond and all related files, then install byond v.440, this apears to be an old enough version to still work with games and not bug out
I was able to reproduce this issue with Naruto GOA. An unexpected situation was occurring in which the client was being told about objects before it knew anything about the map. It should work properly in the next release.
