300mbits connection. But on the computer next to me,

I am currecntly at wightcable telecomms, we have a 1gb connection. cost £128k a year
We did a speed test, and due to all the people actually on the network it came out to this;

Still not bad?
You do not have a 1Gb internet connection. That is the speed of your connection from your computer to your router/hub/switch/other network device.

You have a 20Mb/s connection which is the highest Wightcable Broadband offer for residential homes.

That's the fastest they offer indeed, but that's not the entire connect, doofus, they offer 20mb/s to around 10,000 people, but they obviously don't have 10,000 internet port's. That's insane, they have about 15 1gb port's.

I'm not kidding I'm there right now, the technicians told me themselves.
Hm....you know they would've lied just to get you to purchase the "1Gb Port" but in all it was just a regular 20Mb/s connection.(Just Saying!)
It says in connection status I have 100Mmps connection but truly I have 1Mbps...

I already had Wightcable, that and T1 for my AW

That's because you're running through a lan cable AmIrite?
o.O I'm on a 10 mbit connection at the moment and I download at 1.2 MB/s..
Ha....I download 2.9 MB/s with a DSL connection.
No such thing as a T1 cable, the cable name is 1000base-T for you. For Kisioj its 100base-T, both ethernet cables. T1 is a T-carrier not a cable.

I never said it was a cable? I have a direct link from Wightcable, because they have some kind of agreement with T1 no clue what it is, don't plan on asking.
