I'm sure that there are a lot of people who hate it and then there are people who love it.
I just installed KDE4.2 and I must say, it's pretty decent. Yes, plasma still crashes every once in a while, but it's always recovered nicely after the crash for me. While KDE4 still has a ways to go, it's already come a hell of a distance. I like a lot of the things they are doing, particularly with how they are trying to make everything quickly accessible (GetHotNewStuff) while still being able to customize your desktop out the wazoo.

It just seems odd to me that there's so few KDE 4 themes compared to the amount of GTK themes.
I realize that GTK is much older, but still, I haven't really seen any "new" themes since KDE 4.0 was released.
One of my major gripes with KDE 4 is that, everytime I try to install Firefox, it doesn't keep the file extensions, so if I want to open something in Firefox (say I click on a mp3 link) I have to first save the file, then open it through dolphin.
Other than that though, I really like it, I can't wait for KDE 4.3!
