Bleach Eternity

by Falacy
Bleach Eternity
MMORPG Styled Game, Loosely Based on Bleach.
ID:74204

Gameplay - The game bases off the Bleach Anime. You Main objective is to learn techniques prior to your race and complete missions. Training or rather much leveling up, is incredibly slow. The only means of leveling up is killing Hollows. I see others who have level 73(which means they stay on the game 24/7 realizing how slow training is) while I stay a Level 7 from playing the game for 4 consecutive days. 5/10

Presentation - The Sounds and icons are very good. The Sounds of constant swords crashing, grunts to exert your strength, and other techniques can get a little annoying. However seeing as you get to pick the actual voices of a certain character makes it a little more easier to put up with it. 7/10

Originallity - The Concept of the game is like the Anime it is based off of. Just go around killing Hollows and learning Techniques. You are permitted to the choice of techniques depending on your skill level. For the most part this game is considered Original. 9/10

Overall - The game deserves a 7. The Game would recieve higher, however due to the constant Missions and slow Leveling it makes it a game that would be boring. Sounds and Graphics would bring it up but they can't be compared if the game only consists of missions and slow leveling. I Recommend this game if you would like to play an Original Bleach game, with awesome effects and techniques with more detail with them.

On which parts?
On every part, go look at some real reviews to have an idea on how to make a proper one. your entire review is nothing but "kill hollows learn techniques, slow leveling"

Not all the parts have it. You literally just GO Around and kill Different Types of Hollows just to level up. It actually takes 30 Hollow killes just to Level up.
There is nothing wrong with slow leveling. Games where you can accomplish everything within a weeks time aren't good.
Yeah, but it's grinding. I hate grinding. You can have games without grinding and still take alot more than a week to beat. Zelda, anyone?

Well I rather want the Training to be a little faster. It took me a week to get to level 7. That's like a level per day. Only a slight faster. I played DBZ HU(created by Falacy same creator of Bleach Eternity) at the same time and I've become a Level 30(Currently 774). So I mean If DBZ fast(and not because of the clan wars which come in handy, or the dragonballs) then why can't Bleach Eternity be a little faster

Why don't you go spam Falacy about it?

Its not THAT big of an issue but if it could go a little faster is all I'm asking. I'm sure he's probably looking at the review.
Any game where your goal is to level up is doomed to failure anyway, regardless of whether you're level 5 or level 10000 at the end of the week.

This is wrong on pretty much every level. All successful MMORPGs involve massive amounts of grinding, with the goal being to get yet another level.

Do you mean that the actual gameplay will suffer if there is no goal other than reaching higher levels? If that's what you meant then yeah, that's the case, but that doesn't stop it from being an insanely successful technique at attracting-- and more importantly keeping-- a playerbase. Everyone wants to be stronger than everyone else, and with a system that allows players to invest massive amounts of time to do just that, you'll get droves of mindless players willing to mash that attack button more than the next guy.
From what Falacy has told me he's actually pretty much done working on this. I haven't heard anything on it in awhile, though. As far as I know this is as good as the game will get.
The leveling used to be a bit faster, and if you took a whole week to get to level 7 then I really suggest you practice, I can get lvl 30 in a day. You just have to know how to fight better. About Falacy changing the speed to a little bit faster, as Fugsnarf said, it won't be happening anytime soon. It'll take a miracle to get Falacy to work on BE again.
I remember when it came out, 100+ players, 3 servers. Constantly.

Now there lucky to scrape together 50 at peak.

The game got boring, and fast due to grinding, there are missions which are a nice little side track but once you've hit the end of the missions the game begins to feel like a constant grind with nothing to take your mind off the endless training..
lol it took you over 4 DAYS to get to level 7? The tutorial basically hands you level 5 and you can complete it in less than 1 hour, clearly you were doing something wrong. All levels up until 70something (when you run out of enemies) can be achieved in less than an hour of play time each. And there are multiple quests types besides just killing hollows, though that is 90% of it.

I just want to know why the EXP from Killing Hollows are Little. DBZ HU: If you kill a NPC You atleast gain a level!

Even if you leave the tutorial at a "Level 5" I killed Every Enemy from the Academy Students to the Stronger Hollows in the Gates and Sadly achieved level 7. I played for 2 more Days seeing if I could level up and sadly no. So I left the game on a bad note.

He posted a screenshot of something on the forum, and I remember seeing the source opened up in the task bar; he's probably adding more content regardless of what he says (it was recent).
