is Naruto the new Dragon Ball Zed ?
|
All im saying is that i personally dont wanna see Naruto turn out like DBZ on Byond. I dont play the Naruto games much myself.
|
Naw, there is only 2 pages of Naruto, and until someone stupid releases a crappy source, then Naruto will never be like DBZ.
Fact is, most of these Naurto fan games are nothing more, then a Dragonball Zeta game, with a different theme. You may be right, but with all these new Naruto's coming out (Naruto Universe, Naruto Revolution etc etc), I think Naruto will become a lot better than DBZ will ever be. |
The Naruto anime doesn't deserve all the shame that is brought upon it from most of it's fan games here on BYOND.

Why would you say Zed? He's from one of those weird places (heh) where they don't say "zee" like we do to pronounce the last letter of the alphabet... They say "zed"... Secdonly Dragonbll and Z are done by the same people who worked on Naurto. So Naurto will appeale to those who liked Dragonball, or in this game, Dragonball Zeta. Not quite... It might be done by the same animation company, but DBZ was written by Akira Toriyama, and he has nothing to do with Naruto (well, not directly, anyways... perhaps the creators of Naruto looked at DB for inspiration or something), as the Naruto manga is written by someone else... And of course, the respective animes are pretty much scripted right from the mangas they're based on, so the animation studio really doesn't have much to do with the end result... So any similarities are not caused by the creators/writers, since they're different people... Now, both series are being dubbed by FUNimation, so some similarities might arise there, in the form of voices being the same, some dialogue/translation styles being the same, etc, but the base material was done long before FUNi got a hold on them, so any similarities there are coincidental... Fact is, most of these Naurto fan games are nothing more, then a Dragonball Zeta game, with a different theme. And just for good measure, since you typed it "Naurto" three times (suggesting that it isn't just a typo), the name is "Naruto"... |
Blonde characters? Check.
Slug-like pacing? Check. Been running in Japan forever? Check. Yes. |
I come from that weird country that invented the english language.
Z is pronounced Zed, while "Zee" is used to help pre-school children from the age of 2-4 to help with learning words. "Zee" is not used from standard education onwards, its simply a learning tool for toddlers. |
I come from that weird country that invented the english language. Language isn't exactly a static thing and it's not like English was completely original to begin with. Quite important to know when to move on otherwise you may find yourself speaking an archaic language no one else is. |
Theodis, the English speak English. By definition. America may be moving on, but that would mean that Americans are not speaking English, not that the English need to move with the times.

Forget about how to pronounce letters. It's the idea that someone could spell them differently that's worrisome. ;)
