I am sure every dotting parent believes their children are geniuses. But apparently children are like sponges in their first few years. They even have reading programs for children under a year old now.
With my attitude, obviously most people would never have the opinion I am a genius, but my mother had a different opinion when she had me. She claimed I was speaking, reading and walking early. Apparently I didn't crawl. I went from laying there to walking. So I'd just hang on to the praise for now for your little guy. Wait until they are a little older to pass judgment. On a side note, I am jealous, I want kids really bad, just waiting to find that right lady. |
