Heh, from the second comment in that article: "It was always their plan to trail at the half, thus deepening our eventual jubilation when they came back on the air."

Futurama is so quotable. One of the reasons it sticks with me is that so many people said so many great and funny things.
As for the sales, I did my part as well. I bought all the movies, the last one on Blu-Ray. Granted, I pirated them as well, but I think it was fair since every one of them was leaked two weeks early, and how can you expect a man to wait two weeks with the knowledge that new Futurama can be his today? |
I bought all the series, but I lent them away then forgot to whom and now have to buy them again.
I did however also buy the movies, and spent every spare dollar I had to do so. |
Futurama eh, Yay now I can watch something other than family guy on adult swim.

There's none of this 'it didn't really pick up until...' stuff you usually get with great series. Sure, there were standout episodes, but there weren't any you'd skip. |
Futurama is one of the few shows that is funny pretty much all the time, but can still pull at your heart strings. Oh Seymour.

You sound like Fizzy with that comment... Am I heartless because I didn't cry at the end of that episode?
|
Yes you are, Tib. Of course, it doesn't have the power to make me feel sad anymore, because of the movies.
