anyway to know which is the best weapon out of the ones your carrying is? and does carrying to much affect you any?

If you unpack the data savefiles via the source editor, you should see the die roll values of the different weapons.

Carrying has no penalties in this game.

The dagger is one of the worst weapons; if throwing was supported things would be different.

The best weapons are the hammer (4d4), the axe (2d6), the iron club (2d4), and the longsword (1d8). Better weapons tend to be rarer; trolls can carry icon clubs sometimes. I probably should have nerfed the hammer, but oh well.
