This guy came up with a million-dollar idea. Good for him, I say! Looking at this page is like playing "Where's Waldo?" but having no idea of what you're supposed to be looking for.

(NOTE: I don't think this is an adware/scam site, but I'd bet that at least a few of the advertisers are. Caveat browsor!)

There actually -is- an ad featuring Waldo on the site. =P
The site has been up for a while now. It was even broadcasted over G4 TV. The guy made it when he was in college or something to make a few bucks and it turned into a big thing.
Smart man :)
The smart people are the ones who put there icon as a blank black picture so people scroll over it to see if they can buy it =P

Not that long, unless wikipedia's wrong. It says that the site was launched on 8/26/05.

Freaking genius!

Hmmm, I'd better come up with my get-rich-quick-off- of-an-internet-novelty scheme quick before all of the good ones are taken...

[Edit:] As for animated... I wonder if he'd put up an animated gif if you paid pixels*frames?
So you pay him $1 to put an advertisement on his site?
Nope, you pay him $1 per pixel in your ad...

Unfortunately, he has a minimum of 10x10 pixel squares (100 pixels = $100)

[Edit:] And according to WikiPedia (there's no arguing with WikiPedia), he's made around $912,000 so far... Of course, judging by the ammount of covered pixels on that page, one can tell that its true...
