Xooxer and I are working on the website now, and it should be up in the next couple of days. For now, though, here's some information for everyone:
We'll be meeting in Germany (location still TBA) on a Wednesday or Thursday (date, also, TBA). Thursday and Friday we'll hang around, hit a few bars, LAN a few LANs. Friday at around 3AM, we'll be getting on a train to Amsterdam. We'll party there until 5 or 6PM, and we'll head back to Germany, and do much of the same through Tuesday. We've analyzed all the costs, and we recommend saving around $1200 if you're flying from North America. This will cover round-trip plane tickets, train tickets, and a few hundred dollars in pocket cash. European guests will require less, obviously, as their airfare will be less expensive. More information as we approach the date!

What about Australia area's?

I'm not completely sure. The break down is that Americans pay around $600 for airfare, and the rest is for train tickets and pocket cash. So, just go to something like http://www.travelocity.com/ and check out how much airfair will cost you.

One question. Why Germany? If BYOND members were to meet anywhere, it should be mexico.
|
Does that include airport taxes, though? Because that can add a couple hundred of dollars to airfare prices.

I wouldn't worry. |
