I am pleased to unveil publicly for the first time Pokemon Challenger!



Challenger is a defense style game based around the popular Pokemon franchise by Nintendo. The game features innovative and strategic gameplay that is breakthrough for both the defense genre and the Pokemon series.



Using your team of Pokemon, you fend off wild Pokemon as they approach. Catch new ones to add them to your team, or defeat them to gain levels and become stronger. Evolve into new, powerful forms and use your might to overcome all 8 of the Badge Challenges! If you succeed, you may dare to take on the Elite Four and become the true Pokemon Champion yourself!



Challenger is entering public beta for the final bug testing stage within the next few days on the dedicated server, and players will be able to download and play their own copies after the game is released!

Last but not least, Challenger supports full multiplayer gameplay. Multiple players can join forces cooperatively to defend against the increased hordes!

Looking forward to seeing you at the first beta Wednesday night at 8 PM eastern!

Looks incredibly impressive! If the gameplay has had the level of attention that the interface has, then this must be a great game...

I'm impressed, but I'm still a bit confused on what the gameplay will be like. Guess I'll have to wait to find out about that.

It looks great, I will attempt to stop by and play this(depending on what time im on considering GMT is what, +5 or 6 hours >_>)

You choose what pokemon to start off with/capture, and where to place them, and they do all the work for you. The strategy involves knowing what kinds of pokemon to have and where to place them to ensure they're used to their fullest extent. It's very fun to watch. :P

You can move the pokemon wherever you want whenever you want, and they will always return to that position after battle, but during waves they will move forwards and attack based on what range they're set to react from. For example, putting the most durable pokemon (bronzor) in front, allowing the weaker pokemon (magikarp) to do damage without fainting in the first couple seconds of battle.
