Tomb Explorer Competition: Hidden Gems

Tomb Explorer is update to include a competition edition of the Hidden Gems map. I've had to make a slight modification of the map, since on the standard version it wasn't possible to get 100% of the treasure, but it should be now, although I haven't playtested that. If you want a chance at winning a shiny, purple medal (don't ask me why its purple), then you have until Sunday night to get the best score on Hidden Gems.

Download the latest version of Tomb Explorer.

Notes about scoring:
  • Your base score is determined by how much treasure you collect.
  • Your score is adjusted by how quickly you finish the level.
  • You get bonus points based on how quickly you grab the final treasure after you see it.
  • You get a 10% bonus if you find ALL the treasure.
Note: Make sure you're logged into BYOND when you play otherwise your scores will not be submitted!

Grr, I keep getting 84%, can't find the rest of the treasure.

EDIT: Seems like the Scoreboard is not updating, I've completed it several times.

Were you logged in?

Sometimes the scoreboard just doesn't update - its very annoying that way. I'm going to have to do something to keep track of your score for when it doesn't.

I was clearly logged in, I double checked, I even restarted the pager and tried and it seems as if it's not updating, still.

Grr, this makes no sense.

I'm finishing it 100%, as fast as I can too and even then Nadrew can do it with 4299 points when I don't even hit 4000.

How does he get more points?!?!

I'm thinking it might be nice to create an alternative to Tomb Explorer with the same gameplay concepts only turn-based instead of time-based. The less turns you complete it in, the better your score.

Yeah, that'd be great as it'll rely on mentality and not physical speed. I'm naturally pretty fast at reacting but it seems it's pretty hard to match Nadrew
