I was surfing around on BYOND the other day when I encountered the game Defender by Adam753. As you may have guessed by the name, its another tower defense game, only it appears in this setting that you're defending some kind of magic portal to a city or something. Not really sure, but anyway, the game is pretty much your typical defense game. In this one, you have your archers, mages, psychics and traps. There are different enemies, all of which have different health, speed, resistances and weaknesses to certain defending units.

The interface for this game is pretty old school, and by that I mean it reminds me of BYOND before it had any of its cool interface features. If you're looking for glitz you're not going to find it here. But if you're a fan of tower defense games, its worth taking a look since it at least kept me occupied for a while.

I did find it rather aggravating that there are five hardness levels and it went from pathetically easy at level 1 to nearly impossible at level 3. I'm not sure I should even bother with anything higher than that, I couldn't last two rounds at the third level.

I should also warn you about a highly annoying Spungebob reference. You've been warned!!!

Prepare to meet your arrow-filled death, skull things!

Nope, they sure didn't see that one coming...

Well, I was going to post some more screen shots, but as I had accumulated a lot of cash and opted to upgrade all of my unit classes, the game evidently decided that I was cheating and reset my game. Oh well! Let that be a warning to all, spending sprees are bad!
The Game somehow calculates your chance of success. If you're guranteed to win, it kills you for 'cheating'.
