Neat! Now, what I find particuarly interesting about this is the fact that the one time I joined Chat, I didn't send a single public message - all were /tells to Xooxer. So, why the ban, Evi of au? Enlighten me.

Actually, I recall you joining chat and relaying a message that went as so "Come talk to me when this has channels." then leaving. And you were banned, and I just got you unbanned. So whatever you have to say to us, nows your chance, plus I have some intresting things to show you.

Ah, very well, but as Evi of au is the owner of the only channel, he should take accountability for it. You see, if I ban someone from The Pub, regardless of the reason, they're still welcome in Converse - just not my personal channel. When Evi or one of his goons bans someone, they're removed from the program? How fair is that?

That's ridiculous. What does it say of a chat program when you ban people from the program for no reason? My qualm was not with Evi of au until very recently, when he brought it upon himself. I don't like getting caught up in BYONDrama, but you guys really give me no choice. Xooxer, I'm especially disappointed with you. You're very different ever since you've come back, and not for the better.

I don't know, I think I've improved quite a bit. You're right, though, I can't prove you did anything. The nature of the exploit makes it nearly impossible to tell. Consider your ban a sort of protection for you against being accused of anything. It's not like you log into Chat all that often anyways. In fact, I've only seen you in there twice.

It's not a matter of you not being able to prove it - I didn't do it, and the fact that you think I did is really quite offensive. You're not improved, either. You're calling "troll" at everyone you can see, regardless of your past experiences with me. In any case, it's the principal of the ban that upsets me.

What does it say of a chat program when you ban people from the program for no reason? BYOND chat programs tend to have one active channel, sometimes two. so, getting banned from the main channel is usually the same as getting banned from the entire program. channels, like most other features, are useless functionality. if you were only banned from the main channel, you would just create your own channel, or just send people tells. if you're banned from the chat program, you can host your own chat or send messages to people with the pager. based on the people i've seen in chat, you should thank them for banning you. | |
Koil is the one that started this the one text was faked he spamed ben gs chat then radio active monkey spamed evis chat and then me and several others stupidly retaliated edit now that ive read up on this argument who cares what your oppinions are one thinks one chatroom is ok the other has a bunch one has one to many ops the other doesnt who fucking cares

Well, just so's you're all aware of how things stand now, I'm reporting the attacks to my ISP. Whoever was involved in crashing Chat will be dealt with by the law.

I reported the same person like 3 or 4 times for attacking (And later crashing) a active server I paid for and for harrassing the entire community of players that were on it. All the ISP did was warn the player, that was it. So if you think someone is going to get in trouble for crashing a chat game on BYOND, you need to wake up. | |

I mean, your excellent coders, but you lower yourself by fighting over who is better? Give me a break... All of this stuff about banning is complete bullshit, you shouldn't be able to ban someone because you don't like something about them. Banning was mainly created for things that were COMPLETE neccessities... Was banning Ben G a necessity? I'm sure it wasn't... He didn't spam, didn't crash a server, but he expressed a mere opinion? Xooxer, I've never met you and have alot of respect for you and lowering yourself by banning someone for stupid reasons like you did is just dissapointing dude...
