Ok so a lot of people are waiting to play NEStalgia, but how do you think those people will feel if Silk just wakes up one day and decides "Oh screw NEStalgia, I'm going to work on making a Proelium 3 from now on."
I'm not saying he doesen't have a right to do this. I'm saying its annoying and useless to promote a game before its finished and get everyone looking forward to it, then just abandon it.
If he only makes games for himself, then why publish them? How about you just make your little old game for yourself and leave everyone else out of it. Noone wants to waste their time on giving feedback and helping you test and look for bugs on a project that you'll just randomly walk away from.
Don't publish games since you don't care about anyone else. But I know you won't stop publishing games, since you know that theres a possibility someone will reach into their pocket and send you a few dollars. Too bad I won't be contributing a dime of my money for any of your projects now or in the future. I'll pay someone who actually cares.

Well then, perhaps you should stop worrying so much about my games. I don't care if people like them, I design them for my own enjoyment, and I charge money for them.
By your standards, I'm doing everything wrong... so just ignore me and move on.
