Personally I thought this movie was great, I went expecting an action movie and I got it. I'm not a self-proclaimed hardcore comic geek, but I know bits here and there about the comics to say that this seemed like a pretty good alteration of the story for me.

The explosions seemed timed very well, the actors were all well casted and I only had a complaint at the very end. I realized that the characters stories weren't dead-on, but that would be impossible for them to do in one movie, so I settled for their alteration. I figure if I want to know the comic book version of origins, I'll go read the comic book.

I think Ryan Reynolds as Dead Pool was brilliant, and I'm actually looking forward to the anti-hero's spin off. I didn't really like that he had Cyclops's laser eyes and Kestrel's teleportation ability, as I feel they took away from what Dead Pool really was in a fight, but it wasn't terrible over all (If I recall right he did have a teleport ability when he teamed up with cable that wasn't a utility anyway).

The only part I was entirely disappointed with, was the last 5 minutes of the movie. It felt like I was writing an essay on something interesting, and if anyone has ever seen one of my essays they would realize that I suck at conclusions. It ended abruptly and anti-climatic IMO. And the tiny beef I had during the movie was that gambit had such little lines I couldn't tell if he was trying to sound french or like a redneck. Either way it was still amusing.

Well worth the $9.50 in my opinion, I'd own this movie on DVD but it's nothing I'd run back to the movies a second time to see. Very flashy, entertaining from the start, satisfyingly action-packed, and it even had decent bursts of comedy that gave me a good chuckle at times. Nothing along the lines of Iron man or The Dark Knight, but I've been happy with the Xmen franchise so far (aside from the third movie lacking in what I call "stuffing", yet even that was still entertaining.)

If you hadn't seen it yet, go see it!

<3 Ken.
Hm, so they're making a Dead Pool spin off?
Also, Gambit would be French, Cajun to be exact.
Agreed, I Enjoyed this movie Very Much~

yea*
Gambit's part / screen time was too little

I Said the Same thing at the End of the Movie

I know he was french, but I was just commenting on the role played. Sounded a little southern USA at times. And yeah looking forward to the deadpool movie!

The Game was well done too.
The game is possibly one of the best comic book games every made, sort of rivals the Spiderman line-up.

I wanted an action movie and got it, one annoying part was that the CG in places didnt look too, right, like the end when there running towards Xavier and some cliche moments were they zoom in on Wolverine and he roars and whips out the claws but then again what would a Wolverine movie be without Hugh Jackman showing us how loud he is?

I was particularly annoyed with the way Wolverine KOed Gambit with one pimp slap...

But other than that, nice watch. Ill buy the DVD for a monthly rewatch.
In the game, Gambit said "mon frere" approximately 780 times, all within a ~20 minute gameplay period.

Fun game though.
It was ok, could've done without the wires and maybe added some CGI though.

I assume it was the same in the theatre as it was on the internet.
A sequel to Origins was announced May 5th, One of the endings they showed in the credits has Wolverine in a Japanese Bar, and the bar tender or lady asked, are you drinking to forget, and he said he's drinking to remember. So now we get a 2nd Wolverine Origins. Along with Deadpool's spin off, and hopefully they go through with the Magneto one
waited for the credits to end this time, missed it on x-man 3 and found out about it 2 years later lol
2nd wolv origins???
