Trying to connect to the server and got this error. Naturally I uninstalled byond and installed the updated version... three times. I rebooted my computer until eventually I un-derped and tried connecting to some other byond games I play... which work fine.
I'm not sure if it's sending me this message because it doesnt understand if the server is down or something, or if the server is running a 'far out of date' (byond's words) serverside byond version.

It's actually currently using the beta version. Just get that one.

I try clicking 'play now' on the website (after installing the beta) and the server isn't coming up. In addition, the game browser in the beta client is nonexistant.
Edit: Just discovered the 'past servers' function. I think I can use that to access the server but even so, kind of inconvenient. | |
There might be something wrong with your BYOND installation.
