I watched it live on BBC news 24, what a waste of ai r time, I hear it held back family guy for it.
All he said was what we knew in the last 6 months anyway, and even then he choked a few times on the auto-cue. I mean.... using an auto-cue ? can't the man make his own speech on the spot like normal high end politicians ? Oh well...

Because, you know, getting upset about a maniac with a propensity to go to war with nations that have stuff he wants, whom also possesses nuclear weapons, and rejects the need for changes in one of the most wasteful and polluting nations on Earth in order to make it somewhat greener - He isn't an international concern. And that wasn't a huge run-on sentence.

Blah I'm sick of the rest of the world's inferiority complex. I'm also sick of hyperbole, conspiracy theories, and adolescent political banter.
Because, after all, the United States is a dictatorship, and Bush is the king. His power is UNLIMITED, and he is personally responsible for ruining the lives of every 13-16 year old in the world. |
You might not like what he says, but on the other hand you really don't have to listen to him. I back him 100% on everything he says, however I might feel.
I took the oath and was sworen in. At least you have the option of saying no. |
This wasnt a bash against americans, this is a bash against a politician who shouldnt be in politics, not for the things he's done, not for his political idology, not even for the fact he's american :P but for his complete retardedness. If there was someone in my own country *cough* Kilroy Silk *cough* with the same level of idiocy at such a political position, I'd want a recount.
(Luckly, Silk boy decided to leave New Labour, join the UK Independent Party, fail to take control and then create his own useless party). |
I love it when foreigners comment on U.S. politics. U.S. politics is easily the most important political...thing in the entire world. We pretty much have a right, given that what the U.S. does effects the entire world, to comment on U.S. politics. |
This speech was much better :)

can't the man make his own speech on the spot like normal high end politicians ? He's no Ronald Reagan when it comes to public speaking, but oratory alone isn't the measure of a man. If it were, Hitler would have been just about the next best thing to Jesus. Which, I hasten to add, he wasn't. |
He's no Ronald Reagan when it comes to public speaking, but oratory alone isn't the measure of a man. If it were, Hitler would have been just about the next best thing to Jesus. Which, I hasten to add, he wasn't. precisely. charisma helps a politician but it shouldn't make the politician. if you're so fixated on things like that, then i have a shiny piece of ribbon that will keep you amused for weeks. |
Seriously though dude... complaining about Bush is getting old at this point.
