Apparently this weekend there's a sale on The Orange Box for 10USD. That's 66% off, so if you want to buy it, now would be the time. Unfortunately, My bank and the place where I put money on my credit card are both closed, so I'm missing out. But hey, doesn't mean you should.

I'm tempted to buy 10 copies, so that I can give them out as prizes. I wonder if Steam would let me gift them, though.

Steam has its own 'gift' feature; I bought a second Orange Box, and my current account ended up with an extra copy of HL2, and Steam let me gift the game to someone else so that they completely owned the game. Yea, I've gifted a couple of games in the past. What I was wondering was if I could buy them now at a discount, and then gift them later. Turns out I can't, which isn't surprising.
