Poll: Which superpower would you rather have?

Ok, next in my series of Vs. questions: Invisibility or Laser Eyes. You have the choice, being able to make yourself invisible/visible again, or being able to shoot lasers out of your eyes that practically obliterates anything. You choose.

Easy one. Why get laser eyes if you can just be invisible whenever you want?

Invisibility here, too...
It would be nice to have the ability to destroy whatever I wanted, but I think that invisibility is much more useful than that one trick pony... Funny thing about invisibility I read not so long ago (maybe even right here on BYOND somewhere?) is that being invisible renders you blind as well... Invisibility requires that light passes through/around you, right? Well, that also means that light passes through/around your retinas, so you never sense it; I.E. you can't see... | |

Yeah, no one really likes to have too much realism in their fantasy, since it ruins it (obviously)... I just thought I'd toss that one out there...

Invisibility would be better.. but for that you'd have to not make ANY noise, if you do that can make some setbacks. Laser Eyes you just blast pretty much anywhere. I chose laser eyes lol

Your poll might me more interesting if it were something like invis vs teleport (jumper style) or something. Also, you can add a twist of moral dilemma by saying you have to be invis forever. Nobody would ever see you again, even if you died. :) Now what's your answer. ts | |
Well, if to go by Hollow Man, turning invisible turns you into a murderous, sadistic, rapist, nut-job. And if you go by XMen, Laser Eyes turn you into a pompous, uptight, killjoy, loser whose always wearing sunglasses (out of necessity, mind you).
So do I want to be a murderous rapist or an uptight killjoy? Well, I'm already an uptight killjoy, so I might as well role reverse and become a sadistic murderer. Never being seen by human eyes again could work out for me, aside from cold days (you can't be invisible wearing clothes). | |
