Like I said, being cornered makes people lash out... So, even if you deserved it or not, you were one of the "enemies", and you get attacked, too...

Add-on to that last post (too lazy to delete it, and re-post):
This is especially true in a case where the other side is coming at you over a simple wording mistake, which no one bothered to calmly say, "From the way you worded it, it looks like you're blaming all of China..." The initial accusation came out like, "YOU F'ING RACIST! CHINA DOESN'T DO THAT STUFF!" This creates instant defensiveness, and instant hostility... Even if she's at fault for her reaction, you guys are at fault for starting the fight (as childish as that sounds)... |
What the hell are you talking about OneFishDown? Where have I constantly replied to you with more insults? I might have said something once at first, but that was because you and a lot of others are being so stupid.
It's easy to guess whos doing this on purpose, if the issue has already been resolved but they keep going on about it. Like you are, your doing this on purpose. OneFishDown, grow up and stop looking for more and more useless and pointless things to say about me. If you don't like me, fine. Just shut the hell up will ya? Theres nothing more to say, so stop looking for some. And Divine Apprentice, you suck. Atleast I spell it right. |
SSGX, if this were IRL, Zeen would get her ass flamed, left and right, and get death threats. Just for making a mistake like that.
Trust me, i've seen it happen. o.o |
I think I did get my ass flamed and got death threats.
People can be so sad and stupid sometimes. |
No, actually, it would be alot worse, trust me, i got my e-mail spammed with death threats for saying "WE HATE HALO!" on a IGN forum. o.o

No she wouldn't... In real life, people would take the time to figure out what she meant by her words (well, sane, level-headed people would, anyways)...
It's no different than anyone bitching about "Christians", or "Americans", or the generic "they", or whatever... For the sake of convenience, people lump others into categories... This is called stereotyping, and it happens everywhere... Right or wrong, it's an accepted fact of life... So, when speaking of a practice that occurs in China, by even a small handful of the Chinese, it's just simpler to say "China" or "the Chinese"... The same way some of us say things like "I hate how Christians are always cramming religion down our throats!" or "Those damn Americans think they own the world!" Obviously, everyone knows that not all of the members of these groups are guilty of whatever we're pinning on them... So when someone says something like that, you can simply realize that they are referring to the guilty individuals by the blanket term... Again, this entire thing was a non-issue to begin with... |
If you'd understand how some people(The MEDIA), picks apart people's words, and twists them into something completley different than what the person who originally said it. It would go something like this:
"I hate how people treat cats in China, they disgust me" Media: So are you trying to say all people in china commit acts of animal cruelty? Then it goes from bad to worse. |
"(well, sane, level-headed people would, anyways)"
The only problem with this is that there are plenty of people who do not fall into that category... These are the people you see on the news... Obviously, they're not going to do stories that say "someone made a potentially offensive remark, and someone else calmly asked them to clarify, and everyone went away happy!" Even though those stories far outnumber the "the other guy flew off the handle, and killed everyone in sight" stories, they just aren't as newsworthy... Like car accidents... They don't report things like "well, everyone got to work safely this morning", they only report the "there was a ten car pileup on the freeway this morning" stories... Even though the number of people who got safely to work every morning outnumber those that didn't by thousands/millions to one... |
Omg, you must not watch the news. You should see how they pick apart Bush's words. |
Again:
Something like "President Bush said something that we didn't find any problem with" doesn't make the news... So, all we ever hear is the negative... You can't judge the state of the world based on what is reported on... They only report the bad, because that's all that "sells"... |
she seems to judge a post based on the author. if garthor or i wrote a reply, she'd probably take it as an insult regardless of what the post actually said. she said that she only insults people that insulted her first, or pissed her off "on purpose". there is no sure way to know when someone else is acting "on purpose", and, compared to her posts, i've hardly used any insults. yet, she constantly replies to me with more and more insults.
