Today I tried to login in BYOND, and it displayed some errors...
First I entered the password wrong, I probably forgot a letter, after that I entered the correct password, and it said: "Invalid login", then I retyped and it said BYOND: HUB Failed (or something like that).
I started to wonder about my byond account, I tried to login through BYOND, and it said that there was a limit on the ammount of logins you can do (even though I've only done like 3) and that I was forced to stay one hour without my account unless I reseted the password, I reseted it, and after joining back, I saw this:
- No friends on BYOND, only Zetetsu.
- My BYOND's Icon was removed.
- My Account's Timezone was changed to US / Hawaii.
God... I'm very scared :S
Now I have to change a lot of passwords in Internet, any idea of how can I stop this? I doubt I have any virus, maybe somebody figured out my password (even though it was very hard x,x) and went mad at me... :(

It's not hacking if they guess your password. BYOND accounts can't just be "hacked". I don't someone would take the time to infect you with a virus just to mess with your BYOND account.

Anything can theoretically be "hacked", that's the number one rule: "Nothing is ever 100% secure".
Anyways, if someone did get into your account by guessing your password it would have to be someone you know probably...unless you got a key logger-type virii or something of the sort. But why target BYOND...? No idea there. :P |
Actually certain new measures of security have been proven by physics laws to be 100% secure. They use the Heisenberg uncertainty principle. Then again I did read in a short article in a science magazine that by using the atoms around the one they wished to analyze they were able to limit the location it could be in... or something like that.
