Well, it seems I've found some good resources to help my development.

#1 - The MUD-Dev mailing list, and

#2 - www.mudlab.org

One makes a good knowledgebase, the other makes a good place to bounce ideas of other developers. Maybe I can finally get some of my complex concepts critiqued, so that I can streamline them and then break them down and code them. This would be a genuine breakthrough!
