Wow, she misunderstood instructions and they shot her...whoops, sorry.
Oh my god, atrocities happened in a war. This has never happened before in this history of mankind.
Yeah, I havn't heard of that either. Quite strange really.
Whoops, it goes both ways?

Does it really matter if it is non-aimed rockets, suicide bombing civilian buses or aimed sniper fire? The end result is a bunch of dead civilians.
I'm still waiting for a response on the post about you not objecting to your people degrading your soldiers.

Yeah, the Israeli soldiers were just following orders, that defense worked at Nuremburg right?

It certainly worked in The U.S. Native American wars and the Iran Iraq wars. And the Vietnam War. And I don't think anyone behind the Katyn Massacre had to answer for their crimes either. Woe to the conquered.
All is fair in love and war, though I don't necessarily agree with that all the time. What must be done must be done, but in this situation they WERE just following orders. It's either you, or the woman.
I don't think the disparate civilian casualties between Israel and Palestine, or the Israeli Army's conduct are really terribly new. But I guess having some more concrete testimonies finally adds credence to what we already knew was going on.

It really does matter - we're supposed to hold the moral high ground.

And, for the most part, we do. I don't think I can recall many accounts of allied soldiers baiting civilians into a public place, or going into a place that is known to have hospitable civilians, and just wrecking the whole area with explosives*. If we were to count up the number of KNOWN friendly civilians killed by each party would put the allies on the moral high ground.

Also, keep in mind these "Muslims"** want to instill an extremely unjust, disgusting, anti-progression and totalitarian government. The allies are trying to put Democracy in place. Again, the morally right thing to do.

*- meaning intentionally destroying and killing. I know the Air Force is less than perfect with it's bombings, but it's very difficult to be spot on with your shots at those distances.
**- I don't consider the insurgents followers of Islam. Most of the Muslims I know are rather peaceful(save the extreme leftist African ones). Most, if not all, outright condemn the terrorist cells.
