Exactly, which is why we humans are superior. We have the ability to think up ideas and create what we think. We also have the ability to advance in our thought. There's a reason you don't see an underwater octopus utopia like we have cities. They cannot advance their minds to create new things that they are not familiar with and create them for real.

They can be as intelligent as they want. It still does not put them at the same level as humans. No matter how intelligent they are, they cannot do the things that we humans can do. We form relationships with other humans and build tools to make amazing things that no creatures has ever made before. You don't even see the most intelligent of animals making things that we humans created in the stone age. Octopuses use tools more advanced than humans in the stone age did; they just don't make them by hitting rocks together. Some octopuses gather cnidocytes from jellyfish and use them as a weapon, which places them at roughly the nomadic human era. Were it not for their short life spans and tendency to keep for themselves, they could easily become even more advanced. |
Humans have been picking up sticks and throwing them at other things for as long as they've been alive. It's not too difficult.

A stick is found in a set location and can be be picked up with ease; octopuses do this with rocks. Using other animals to increase the ease of killing prey ranks up there with Native Americans killing buffalo and making houses out of their bones. |
And, Fug, humans are still not more advanced than other animals. Yes, we're more intelligent (we're also stronger, faster, and live longer than most, too), but we're not more evolved, as the notion is nonsensical. You obviously have a total lack of understanding of animal intelligence and evolution, so I'm curious as to why you're still here, debating.

I'm just trying to defend myself. I'm not saying that we are more evolved, I never said that. I'm only saying that the fact that we are more intelligent and can reach greater heights puts us at a higher level than other animals. We are obviously more advanced than other animals. Just look around you. No other animal can achieve what we achieve

We are not more intelligent nor are we at a greater level as mere zygotes, that is the meaning of this post (well, half of it). Also, if you say human zygotes have more potential, you're wrong. |
lol, this got a little farther than zygotes. I apologize for that. No, as zygotes I would say we are the same. But what we develop into later is what suggests that we had a soul at that stage. Since I beleive in souls and I am a christian, I'm going to stick to that.
