I don't think it works out in this case at all. If I recall isn't the game in a 3/4ths perspective? Granted there's bigger problems about the building than the shading if this is the case. It just adds a goofy bumpy texture to an otherwise flat looking building.

Edit: I'm now trying to imagine what a 3/4ths perspective with a light source directly from the viewer, pillow shaded, would look like.

Of course, that itself wouldn't really be a problem for me, if it was done to achieve that look, but for a Bleach game, shouldn't the graphical style resemble the show (at least to some degree)? I'd imagine that not many buildings look like play-doh in the anime...lol
