Some of you may know our good buddy Hulio-G from the BYOND Anime forums or from him being the leader in production of Bleach Online. He's a pretty cool guy (sometimes) and he's currently in need of a new cell phone.
Here's a picture of his current phone:
As a good friend, it pains me to see this nonsense he has to converse through. So I ask you, members of BYOND, to give a donation to help raise enough money to get him something more up-to-date.
Donate to the Hulio-G Needs A New Cell Phone Fund. He'll make one icon for every dollar raised. But don't just donate for the sake of using his pixel art skills. Donate for the sake of him not having to talk and text on an outdated phone that's probably not even Bluetooth compatible.
All donations are appreciated. Thanks for your help.
*Note* We also accept cell phones as donations!

Ohhhh god you actually did it. Don't forget he also agreed that to anybody paying full price he will ignore his game for 5 month's and work dedicated to there game in that time. :]

Looks fine to me. All you need a cell phone for is to call someone. As long as it fits in your pocket theres no point getting a new one :\
|
I have a Google G1, and I have to say that it's certainly made my life TONS easier. Who actually uses a cell phone to call people anymore anyway?
|
If it wasn't for me being against comment Nazis, I'd delete all your posts, Yash. You're making shit difficult. >:(
|
I would also like to add that there are free cell phones that are up-to-date :)

Ask your self what the purpose of a cell phone is. For me it's to browse the web, use MSN Messenger, scan barcodes to find nearby bargains, play games, write code, take photos, and listen to music, all in a tiny package that I can use while walking around in a store and stuff in my pocket. But that's just me. |
I'm inclined to agree with Yash. As long as you have good sound quality and text messaging for during lectures, you're pretty much fine.

I actually had the exact same phone until XMas. then broke down and broke the phone, and used the warranty.

I remember the day kids would use cell phones to talk. I still act as if those days are current.

Speech is no longer necessary. We all need a phone that rubs our balls and makes pancakes. Hulio-G should not be left out on that.

You just said, "I keep failing to see the point of speech in an age where simple text can be used to portray almost as much emotion," but at the same time, completely failed to recognize sarcasm and ironic writing. Congratulations for making the case against text messaging. |
