By "impending release", he means the version that is officially released, not the beta version posted. The current official version is still 432. While the build version may change to 434 when it is officially released, that does not change the fact the annoucement is meant to signify that the update is occuring when that specific build is ready to release, regardless of what they choose to call it when they do.
