I decided to wait until I got my membership back to start this.

I've decided to push the boundaries of my coding knowledge by creating a game a day for seven days in a row. I am not sure of the exact time frame yet, but I'm hoping to start it by the end of the month. Each day will have a specific theme or limit imposed upon it.

The first day will be a game entirely done through procedural generation.
The second day will have to be an entirely experimental gameplay concept. I will need to think up a brand-new gameplay concept.
The third day will be a game whose name and concept will be done through the Video Game Name Generator.
The fourth day will be a stripped-down port of a non-BYOND game.
The fifth day will have a 100 kilobyte limit on the size of the contents of the game's folder. (That means before it's made into hostfiles or compressed)
The sixth day will be a game with no real restrictions.
And the seventh day's restrictions will be voted on by the BYOND community.

Once the game is done, the host files will be placed on the HUB entries for said games, and will be announced on this blog. Once the week of games is over, I will go through the games' source one by one and fully comment it. I will then release the entire source of each and every one of these games to the public for alteration, expansion, and education. I am hoping to make each game a different genre, except for Anime. (That means except an RPG, a strategy game, an action/adventure game, a casual/puzzle game, and potential multiple of some genres.)

Got ideas for the 7th Day? Post a comment!

7th Day - A game that takes full advantage of the 4.0 interface editor and only requires the use of a mouse to play, no keyboard.

Day 3 is great I hope you get something akin to the following:
Christian Booty Explosion
We Love Badminton Jihad
or
Robot Mech School

SOO, awesome.

Other than that, good luck making a game in a day. Tayoko and I aimed to make a game in a week (Efencea) which turned into 10 days then 20. I've lost count now.

I was actually thinking about that, but decided that I should see what you all think first.
Jezus, you have more game hubs than Manio. And your "games" aren't download able. Make them downloadable or delete 90% of the hubs, it's just waste of space - creating hub when players cannot play.

PS. It looks very unprofessional :/

Just because a HUB doesn't have host files doesn't mean you can't play.
I've hosted many of them multiple times over the past year. I prefer to have a measure of how much coding I've done rather than a clutter-less blog page.

Why not do,

6 Days 6 Games 6 random things

it would be 666

7th Day: talk to kamaro
No, because I'm not a goth freak like you.

And so you stop harassing me on my blog, I'm banning you. I've already pagerbanned you and blocked you on MSN for harassing me, now I need to ban you from my blog.
How about finishing that RTS you told me about eons ago and didn't want me to post in Tech Tree? ;)

The reason I haven't finished that is because I haven't settled on the core gameplay. Originally I was going to make it a simple Advance Wars-like RTS, but then I got an idea for an RTS where you personally customize each unit like an RPG, but I could never fully decide on the mechanics of that either. I may finish it eventually, but I have no clue what it could turn into.
