Hey guys with War Brothers' pre alpha release coming up soon I was wondering if somebody can clue me in on some good servers and how it works. I am currently clueless on whats a good server and how much it would cost to purchase a good server. I also currently don't have one cent to my name(literally, with gas being what it is). So if anyone is willing to help out with purchasing this server, as far as donating some money please feel free to do so, I will repay you back if War Brothers turns a profit and I will also provide you with a sub. I am also willing to do some pixel art for anyone who needs it to achieve this goal. Thank you.

Here's an organization that worked well for me. I would imagine that you'd want a Windows Server so that would probably make it about $26 or so and you could add extra nodes at any time to make it even more powerful.

For Byond specific hosting yeah, their deals are better. VPS.net was what I used for multiple purposes.

I've had byond panel, it's pretty good and reliable as well. Also I imagine it's simpler to set up and use.

Windows Servers are horrible for hosting from my point of view, I've always prefered Linux for that.

I did read somewhere that even Microsoft use *nix based systems for some things. | |
