Network delay macroe no longer works :(

I took a byond break a few months ago, and the moment I got back, I noticed that .Configure Delay (x) no longer works. I don't know why it was taken out since now I am unable to battle efficiently the moment that the delay goes above 1. Most of the time I have to run away to manually do it, but that usually costs me the battle.
I was just wondering if anyone knew why .configure delay macroe was taken out and why was it taken out? :(
