Here's a little update of War Brothers and what has been in development.
Classes: In War Brothers we have 3 main classes: Warriors, Wizards and Hunters. Each main class has two sub-classes that the player will get to choose from when they reach a certain Level. Each sub-class has distinct and unique skills with a specific system created for most of them.
Skills: The way skills work in War Brothers is very different from most games, specially around BYOND. Most skills have a determined amount of times you can use them, no matter how high your mana is. For example, a certain skill at full mana will only be used 3 times before your mana runs out, what this does is: eliminate players from spamming skills no matter what Level you are, it eliminates high level players from abusing their skills, it allows for the players to come up with a game plan and figure out how they will use the skills and in what order it will be most effective. The amount of damage the skills do will depend on various variables, ranging from your skill level, to your total mana, to your defense, it all depends on the skill or the class you are. Each class will have an "Ultimate" skill, that will be available to them when they either complete the main story, or when they reach a certain level.
Lets start off with the warrior class.
Warriors: The Warrior class is mainly a melee class like most RPGs, they rely on their strength and defense. However, in War Brothers we have two types of warriors, the Martial Arts warrior and the Infantry Warriors.
Martial Arts: Out of the 6 sub classes we have at the moment in War Brothers, 2 of them will be available to subscribers only. The Martial Arts sub-class is one of them. This sub-class depends mostly on boosts and speed, they have skills which allows them to teleport around their opponents, maneuver around enemy attacks and always be ready for a counter attack. The Martial Arts sub-class also has several long-range skills at its disposal.
An example of an "Ultimate"
This skill increases the user's strength and speed it also allows them to do combos
Infantry Warrior: This sub-class relies mostly on its defense and strength, it also highly depends on its swordsmanship skills. Their skills include mostly, boosts, stuns and defensive styled skills.
The reflective shield skill reflects most melee damage dealt back to the attacker
One of the stuns being used on an enemy
Wizards: The wizard class has two sub classes the Dark Wizards and the Light Wizards. This class relies on long range attacks, its mana and its magic skill level.
Dark Wizards: The dark wizard class relies on destructive spells, they range from dark spells to devastating fire skills, they have a wide variety of AoE attacks that protects them from their weaker defense.
An all out fire attack, that destroys anything in its way.
A fire dragon "Ultimate"(Still being worked on)
Light Wizard: This class is a more passive class, better for assisting Allies in battle. They are able to heal not only themselves but their allies as well making them a headache in battle, with AOE skills that heal anyone within distance. Not to be underestimated they also have powerful light spells.
A White mage using its healing skills
Using a life absorbing skill that uses the enemy's life to heal oneself
Hunters: The Hunter class is a long range class that relies on its agility and speed. The hunter class has two sub classes, the Archer class and the Beast master class.
Archers: The archer class uses long range attacks which makes them highly dependent on their bows, as if they find themselves without one, they can call themselves dead meat. They are not a physically strong class, but this high dependance on their bow allows them to be masterfully skilled with it allowing them to bring down hell upon their enemies.
Archer using a powerful elemental skill
Beast Master: The Beast Master class is a subscriber-only class. This class since very little were brought up to enjoy all aspects of life and nature. They are the only class at the moment to summon animals and monsters to aid them in battle. Their skills are mostly nature-influenced skills that can poison, slow enemies, stun, and etc. This class is still under work, and it wont be available until after the game's release.
I would like to remind everyone that this is a one man team with the exception of Snowy my overlays artist. With that said, thank you for being patience for those who are awaiting the game's release. Which I promise, will be SOON.
I would like for anyone who wishes to see any skills or any ideas incorporated into the game to leave a comment explaining what you would like to see. The skills for some classes are still being developed, I am mostly looking for ideas for the Archer and White Wizard classes.
Thank you, and hope to see you all at the release!

Glad to have you apart of the team, VixiV, I can't wait to see what you bring to the table.
And CB you already know what I love the skills you've made for the game. And as of right now... as of this very second, I'm flipping the switch and coming out of the shadows. You'll be seeing more of the Snowman |
# I thought I'd like to share this piece with War Brothers, hopefully at such a stage it could be valuable to your efforts. #
One summer Will Smith's father tore down a brick wall at the front of their business and told a 12 year old Will and his 9 year old brother to rebuild it. They said it was impossible but one year later they had done it. His father then said "Don't ever tell me again that there's something that you can't do." What Will had to say about the experience: "You don't try to build a wall, you don't set out to build a wall. You don't say I'm going to build the biggest, baddest, greatest wall that's ever been built. You don't start there. You say "I'm going to lay this brick as perfectly as a brick can be laid." and you do that every single day and soon you have a wall." # The point of me sharing this : Spend each an everyday laying your foundation perfectly and your project will reflect that. # |

Couldn't have put it better myself, much appreciated. |
