Version 1.7 of Tabletop Engine has just been released, marking further steps towards 2.0. In this post, i'd like to talk a little bit about what's expected between 1.8 and 2.0.

As some have noticed, sheets and the workspace were recently added. This is made so you can keep track of rules, characters and more. Currently there is only one 'level' of sheets, but I intend to make it branch into several deeper levels with browser display support.

The Radio has not received its streaming capabilities yet, but that is expected to happen soon as it's not terribly difficult.

Custom user settings have not yet been added, but it will include font style, text color, ooc color and more.

Server settings will also be added, allowing you to name your game on the hub, set a password as well as a title.

All of this should be in by 1.9, as 1.9 Beta will be an extensive series of tests before finalizing into a near bugless (we hope) stable release as 2.0.

With the launch of 2.0 will come the raising of another project, as little from that point will need to be done, thus giving more free time to spend.
