Title says it all. I am looking to hire an artist for a variety of small tasks. Including the following, all of the following if for the game Generiquest.
Making a nice looking login screen.
Making a banner, same size as BYOND uses.
Making an icon, again same size as BYOND uses for it's games.
Also, looking for an pixel artist to make various skill/ability icons. Actually, there will be about 320 needed.
They should be 32x32 in size, have some sort of border and display a fancy looking image that in someway relates to the skill and it's name.
The fireball skill would obviously display a picture of a fireball.
The sort of icons I am looking for are similar to what is used in games like WoW. http://www.regressionx.com/wow/Images/Mage_Fireball.jpg Like that for fireball (obviously not exactly like that, but in a similar fashion).
Anyone who helps will recieve ingame credit, and I am willing to pay a reasonable amount of money, provided a method of payment that is secure is avaliable.
But before any payments are agreed upon or made I will require samples of previous work.

What sort of idea do you have is my question as far as the graphics part (none pixel)? Or do you not have one yet?

My entire game has less than a third of how many icons you're asking for. 320 isn't that much for any half decent sized RPG, or a RPG that is making use of larger icons. An example would be the average enemy in my game. They can be as small as 1 icon, or as large as 3x3 (or 9) icons. Each one has 4 walking directions, that are animated with 4 frames. One small enemy uses 16 frames, a 3x3 enemy uses 144 frames. It is the same for turfs, there can be thousands of turfs used if you are using large sized stuff. What sort of idea do you have is my question as far as the graphics part (none pixel)? Or do you not have one yet? I'm looking for something that looks like a generic RPG. Things that spoof commonly used RPG features. What I am not looking for is some random anime/video game character stuck on on background that was made in 5 seconds with photoshop filters. http://www.animeonline.net/free-wallpapers/images/ 4691AnimeOnline_-_6020_-_31002722-full_jpg.jpg and http://sleekupload.com/uploads/uuuuber_anime_sig.png Those are good examples of the sort of things I DO NOT want. |
That part made me laugh.
