Snow day in October? Insanity, I swear! Our earliest snow day I can remember was about 5+ years ago, and in late November.
Weather is one of the three unpredictable W's (the other two being wealth and women).

Hm, wonder how many people will dress up as Santa/Mrs. Claus or Elves this Halloween...

Roboclaus... he would be a good costume (the robot Santa Claus in Futurama).

Sparta is in Ontario, Canada. You can probably infer from the "I blame Canada." post preview that he's probably from Canada. :)

Actually, the Sparta thing was put in because I put madness in, too. They just go together. As far as the blaming Canada thing goes, that meant North winds more than anything...

Or it meant the Canadians are going to invade by shrouding themselves in the snow we got.
Always snows here at least once before Halloween. I live in Kansas.

I live in PA, and it never snows here more than an inch or so before November. We're nearing a foot, and we supposedly have another inch or two on the way. All of this one kind of tree we have in my neighborhood is pretty much dead, save a few, because the weight of the snow on their leaves.
Racism.
Where do you live in PA? We've been getting nothing but rain, and wind all day.

Yeah, about fifteen minutes away from my house they only had rain and wind, with a little sleet/snow mixed in. We actually didn't have power when we woke up yesterday, then it came back around 10 AM. Then we lost it again at about 5 PM, and got it back about 20 minutes ago.
