Just stop making the damn posts already (that means you, Deadron, SilkWizard, and Bootyboy). It's a couple weeks until the election, and you're certainly not going to change someone's mind this late. Hell, last month is almost certainly too late.
Just stop with the freaking posts already.
[Edit]
And it case you're taking the title at face value, I titled it that because of the post that is below me at the time of this post.

Well, Worldweaver, has your political opinion been swayed by reading any of their posts?
|
Are you doubting that some people make their mind up on the day they go to the polls?

Fizz, why do the presidents have debates then? They are attempting to change people's minds.

I like you better when you just talk about me obsessively in Chatters instead of bringing it to the blogs :)
The only people you've listed are those you disagree with. I suggest that if you can't handle dissenting opinions, that you don't read them. Deadron responded to this type of sentiment in one of his recent posts. To quote him: But if you actually, you know, believe in stuff, then a Presidential election is a chance to talk about, oh, the stuff. As has also been pointed out in comments here, my vote "won't matter" given where I live, and it really won't matter for those who are citizens of strange foreign countries that we will someday invade -- but for this few months, it's a chance to figure out what you believe and what kind of person you can believe in, if any. In a few weeks someone will be elected and this opportunity to have a conversation that the whole world can understand and participate in will be gone or at least reduced for a few years, because there will no longer be a binary choice between A and B, there will just be lots of stuff going on that will be harder to get a handle on. |
