Even though the Game in a Day 2008 event is far from over, I've received one entry via email already! I still havn't decided what my entry will be, but that's okay because I'm not going to start planning until my day of programming begins (tomorrow). How is everyone else doing? Is anyone keeping in touch during the event? If so, what chat program are you using?
For more information, check the previous posts:

I'd suggest reading over those results documents. They might give you some good ideas, and you'll definitely get a good picture of what I'm looking for in a complete game.
Good Luck!

I'm on chatters, and doing well enough, using the communications theme.

Just sent mine. I'll give it a hub tomorrow after school. Sure you sent it to the right address? It's not showing up in my inbox or my spam folder. Remember, my name starts with an i, not an L. iainperegrine, gmail. Etc. |
You can use libraries in the competition, correct? I need to use Deadron's PathFinding lib..

Well, I'll try sending again, I could have copied and pasted your e-mail address incorrect (like maybe I missed a letter). If you still don't get it, I should have a hub for it up under the name "Battle for the Sandwich"*
*I might improve the graphics etc. but I'll have my entry on the hub as well if I do that. |
Wait, gmail.what? I keep using .com, but that keeps giving errors. I copied and pasted the exact address, by the way.

I made a hub for it, and made sure the download worked. I'll send it by email if you want, I keep trying to use [email protected], but it's not working (error 505 unknown host or something similar). |
