SPORE! Too bad I have homework to finish first, and because I'm a procrastinator, I might have to cry a little in between assignments.

Could've got oblivion for half price :O

spore is fun. Needs some mods though! Space age is annoying because you can only control one ship and other factions attack you with FLEETS, also cell stage is sadly limited to a very short time you can play.
STILL its great, i loves it. If you run into a species called "Aedi" then fear for your life. |
Yeah, I just made it to civilization; it took about 5+ hours, and it still feels new! You're right though, the cell stage is way too short. I was just getting the hang of it when it forced me to quit (the forcing thing was what I didn't like about that). My species is named "Pwnella" and it's a raptor-like creature with a shark mouth, shark fin, toad feet, and a few other minor details. Overall, I'm very pleased with it so far, and the tribal stage was like a mini age of empires.

Masterdan, after you gain enough badges (About 3), you gain a rank, to Captain I think, and get your first Fleet Slot for an allied ship, like the Pack slots in Creature mode.
Up to a max of about 9 ships at close-to-finish. I didn't actually complete Creature, Tribe, or Civ modes. Once you play for a bit in a mode, it allows you to start a new creature automatically in the next mode. Creature mode was just plain hard. I failed at the Social minigame thing, and didn't have enough power to be able to fight any of the other creature groups. I kept on altering my creature only to find out that I didn't have enough DNA to succeed either way. Tribe phase was pretty cool, but as soon as I found out you can skip stages, I instantly got uber-hyped for Space phase and skipped to it. Space phase is an incredible game in itself! |

I thought creature was pretty easy. Just kill the large creatures by using spit, backing up, using it again and so on. I defeated the Amanksi menace that way! (I mean menace; they killed me like 4 times). I also failed at the social minigame; I only attempted to make allies with creatures I liked the look of, though. The only two that got this treatment were the Yoshis and Birdmans. I killed everything else happily! Also, did you fight any epic monsters? In the tribe stage, it took about 2-3 full 6 man tribes to take down an epic blarg. However, in the creature mode, it took like 5 minutes, and I (nor my other creatures) got hurt. |
