Okay, I'm not a member so I can't make a poll... but anyway, reply with your answer.
Kajika doesn't seem to have updated DMO since early 2007, the website (lufika.com) hasnt been updated since August '07 and the forums are down. I don't think Kajika's on BYOND anymore and I was thinking of releasing DMO's host files for everyone to download. I'd like your opinion on what you think about it.
P.S. If I'm wrong about Kajika, and you're a staff member of DMO and don't want it's source released, tell me, and provide proof that you're a staff member (Not needed for Kajika or Lufika, I know that you're staff).
Anyway, tell me what you think.

Im sure alot of people would like it, but consider NBotLS. Do you really want another thing like that? Its going to be messy how many servers there are, and theres going to be alot of arguing. But as long as hosts arent granted too much power and SFEs dont work, i dont think it'd be that bad. Personally, i want to host it, but if releasing the host files means another NBotLS issue, i say no.

I haven't played NBotLS, what happened with it? And also, the hosts have the power to ban/mute/boot people from there server, and not much else (They can make tournaments, and change settings like tick_lag and the swear filter toggle)

People were competing over player counts so much, advertisers, hackers, it was a total mess. And the hosts usually just went haywire. They'd make their own rules, even if unfair, people had to obey them. It just became a total mess and people on the official forums of it just started to wish they were never made. Just recently my NBotLS server got attacked by a hacker. Things like posting the host files for popular games usually bring out the worst in some people. --------- Although the host powers do seem fair, i like how limited it is. | |

I think you should select a few amount of trust worthy players to have hold of the host file so it don't go spreading all over byond.
However, i as well as everyone else like the game so, if you don't mind i would also like to have the hosting file to put the server up | |

yea, i liked that it was the only game, that let you play with the god cards, and duel against yourself. id love to get my hands on he source to put out a newer version lol
