I thank you all for your kind words and advice, and would like to reward you with a very interesting picture. Three weeks ago, I took part in a medical experiment in an MRI tube - the electro-magnetic brain scanners you probably recognize from ER or Chicago Hope or the like. The test was designed to find out why certain people are scared of social relationships, and involved me staring at people and clicking on a button whenever I should I would get an electroshock. Needless to say, I became quite good at this - and I think electroshocks would be the perfect progression from rumble packs for making games feel more real. :-p

Anyhow, everyone has been showing pics of THEIR brain, now I am going to show MY brain. And this time, its REAL. (I had asked them afterwards if I could have copies of photos - the CD came in the mail today).

Enjoy:

Cool, you can see splatty's eyeballs!
Sushi is horrible. Even though I've never had it before.
Hey, splatty. What exactly did you have to do? Press a butten when what happened? And when did you get an electroshock?
Well, I had to first choose how sympathetic I found four men using a dial. Then as the machine rumbled all around me, I was shown flashes of the four men randomly and hat to press the button if I thought I would get schocked.

Pattern-recogition - only two of the men had shocks "connected" to them. And in the end, they weaned off the shocks to see if my brain still reacted that way... and to see if I still pressed "yes".
They choose a good test subject really...
