Well, I've decided to review one of my favorite games on BYOND. I recommend it to any lover of RPGs. This game is also Strictly RP, if you don't know what that means I recommend looking up Roleplay.

Animal Forest was created some while ago, and has MANY things to do. You can choose to either be a Blacksmith, Magician, Warlock, Carpenter, Paw Arts(Martial Arts), and Much, much more. You can take part in the player-run forest and choose your own destiny, whether it be a mindless crook who steals from the poor & rich and gives to himself, an honest animal who roams the forest and minds his/her own business, or a local security officer who bags and puts local troublemakers in their place. You could spend hours playing this game and still not get bored of it, because there's never nothing to do in this game.

The graphics are 100% amazing, but could use some modifying. All the mob icons were iconed by Buzzyboy himself. There are none, or hardly any ripped icons in this game. The forest worldmap is huge, and the trees are well laid-out. You actually feel like you're in a real forest when playing this game, because the trees were ingeniously laid-out. You can tell the creators of this game spent a lot of work on this game, and didn't just slap it all together like most carelessly coded games.

This is a MUST PLAY for any good RPG lover because this is a game you'll want to play everyday. Animal Forest is probably one of the BEST BYOND RPGs. If you like BYOND classics, then Animal Forest is for you. Animal Forest is being developed again, and is constantly updated. So, come on in and join Animal Forest!

Personally I think the colors for the text background isn't that good. Also, all of the text is black, it would be nice to see several different colors. The help guide is somewhat good, but I think you got the originality wrong. Isn't 6 a bit too low, I probably would have given it atleast a 7 or 8.

I give it a six because it's based off Hedgerow hall. That doesn't mean the game's not original though.

To quote my earlier reasons, this is bad because it's biased, doesn't back anything up with screenshots, has no reasons for its compliments...
...and lies. "and the trees are well laid-out. You actually feel like you're in a real forest when playing this game, because the trees were ingeniously laid-out." This is wrong because: the trees are neatly arranged on the side, there's no over or underbrush, there's roads cutting through the whole thing, and there's rocks full of infinite amounts of ore just lying around next to the logically improbable road. I'd give the map a 7 because it's not great, but it fits the purpose it needs to fit and works fine. (P.S. You might try to say that the road is just a footpath made by humans, to which I answer: And I suppose humans made the miniature building (brick and mortar!) full of trainers for the animals, too? and I don't see any humans on those footpaths, do you? and Shut up.) | |
