After working for some hours i was finally able to get the new css working =O
and it really does look better than the last one.

The background makes it too difficult to read any text that's layered over it- plus, on screen resolutions smaller or larger than 1024 by 768, the background image isn't going to look as good.
Maybe go with a solid color or simple pattern instead of the image you have now. That would make things a lot better!
