A lot of people were complaining, understandably, about the slowness of character creation, since each page must be transferred to the player during creation. So... I created a nifty little work around. Introducing the Maeva Character Creation Module. Now you can created characters for Maeva in the comfort of your own home, even without Internet! You'll still need Internet to actually play with them in the world of Maeva, obviously, but you can have all the time you like to tweak you starting character exactly the way you want him or her to be. I did a lot of work adding icons for skills, and actually put a lot more skills in, just so there would be something to choose from. This will be downloadable, most likely by tomorrow, and will probably be updated as more "low-level" skills and equipment are created. You can still choose from "starter kits" if you don't want to spend the time choosing each individual skill and piece of equipment you want for your character. I find it a lot more fun to create my own class though. Depending on the skills and equipment you choose, other skills and equipment become available, even from within the CCM! I just need to create the interface between the CCM and Maeva, and add some more equipment and skills in. This thing really should be ready to fly tonight, hopefully.
