I am here to assemble a small team of minds. Think outside of the box, break the mold, and share ideas to make brilliant original, quality games.

Its pointless to continue typing, because I know, no matter what, most talent will ignore this, or judge me as another failure in the making. I cant convince you otherwise, not until the future, when you'll regret not being a part of cool people. =D

Contact me on aim. xxthisismikeyxx Aim has the overall faster file sharing system. [email protected] if you only have msn.

trust me, this will be worth while.

I'm looking for any type of talent. An amazing game design junkie, with ideas for the next level of gaming. An artist, dying to make your mark and wanting to be pared with other talent. Or a programmer who can pwn with all that programming voodoo.

If your think you have what it takes.. contact me.

Talent or not, I'm mostly just paranoid that everyone else will want to make games that I don't want to make. And that's usually the case. After all, if everyone made the kind of games I like, I wouldn't have ever needed to learn how to make games.
Same, Foomer.
I guess if you put to many originals together it makes a mess?

meh. I don't think so. especially if we focus on collaborating and choosing ideas all are interested in. Best keep the number of people in low counts.

I think you'd be great foom, I always liked your game design ideas.

Foomer, why be paranoid in the first place? If people don't make the games you want to make or you like, then just leave. Sure, you might have wasted a little time, but then that's a necessary investment for the chances that you do find yourself in a group where you're working with people like yourself and working on games you want to make and would love to play.

Give it a try. Doing things in groups is so much more fun and more worthwhile than doing things alone.

hello this is qwaszx123 i can program very well ill help

Aside from the rather high odds that other people will want to include elements in their games that I simply won't touch, I have worked as a group before, and most of those projects result in one or more members of the group either neglecting to do their part or leaving altogether so that the project can't be finished.

I think I'd prefer having one solid owner of the projecting "parting out" sections of the project for other people to help with, once the main engine has been finished.

Having one person who's adept at programming build the game engine, then once that's finished, recruit some artists, testers and content developers to help out.
Ohh Foomer. All your points are valid, but why not just give it a chance? If it doesn't work out, you'll be proving yourself right, and I would be sorry for wasting your time. If it does work out, you will end up teaming with a group of talented developers like yourself, in making awesome games a lot of people will come to enjoy. Its kind of a win/win.

I have given it a chance.

Rather than saying "Hey, lets form a group and make an awesome game!", I prefer to wait around and let someone start the awesome game, make some progres on it, and then jump in and say "Hey, that's a cool game you've got going, you want some help?"

Unfortunately most people say no. Oh well.
